NEW WEBSITE ADDRESS: The new Millard Aquatic Club website is up and
running. It will require you, as a swimmer or parent, to register as a
member. Once you "enroll", you will have to be verified and
approved. Meet registration and text message updates will require
enrollment. Please be patient as we launch the new site. This site
will remain active through August 26. However, please bookmark http://millardaquatic.gameplannetwork.com
for future reference. Thanks and enjoy.
-
PLEASE
GO TO NEW WEBSITE. Information for prospective members will be
located under the "JOIN M.A.C." link.

- Action swim photos
are available of our MAC Swimmers at various local swim meets
including Div II and Div I. Photos are grouped by Swim Meet in
albums. If you have any questions or would like to order prints,
enlargements or photo specialty items such as photo bag tags,
calendars, or holiday picture cards, contact Jan Weihl at cjweihl@cox.net.

Jan is also
working on an end of season video. She is hoping to have action
swim photos of each swimmer on the video. Please contact her if
you have photos you would like to contribute.
- NEW &/OR PROSPECTIVE SWIMMING
PARENTS: Please remember that MAC must have a copy of a state issued birth certificate (passport, military
I.D.) before participation is allowed. The
following are some general practice guidelines: If
you need to talk to a coach, please do so only before or after the
scheduled practice time(s). Once practice starts, all attention
will be directed to the swimmers. All
parents/spectators must be in the bleachers at all times - this
will be strictly enforced! Please,
nobody on deck during practice (even during transition times due
to deck congestion). "Mentor" families are available to
answer any questions for new folks. These names and numbers
are available from David or Erica. It is also very important
that children be picked up immediately after the scheduled practice
time. Our coaches have families to get home to as well. They will leave the
pool(s) 15 minutes after the end of
practice. At this point, your children are again your
responsibility. The coaches are excited about
working with your children and hope to help make your experience in competitive swimming a "family fun"
event.
- Please notice the 'meet entries'
column on the meet
schedule page. This will be used as a confirmation of meet
entries received rather than individual email replies. With
anywhere from 20-100 swimmers entered in a particular meet, individual
confirmation is much too time consuming. If you enter a
meet by the posted deadline, your swimmer's name will be on the
list. After the MAC deadline, you are responsible for your own
entries and may be required to pay double fees to the host team.
Event numbers must be included with your online registration. A
swimmer cannot be entered in a meet without both a birth
certificate and 2007 USA Swimming registration form on file. (If
you have any questions concerning this matter, please don't hesitate
to email David at madmac6@cox.net)
- REMINDERS! Parents
- please pick up your children no later than 15 minutes of the
scheduled practice completion time. You will be
billed for any time after this. Also, parents are
not allowed on deck during practice or swim meets. Thank you for
your cooperation.
